The 4th editon of the European Blues Expo is held in Saint Cirq Lapopie (France), a village listed as one of the most beautiful in France, from July 11 until August 31, 2015 at La Fourdonne. The exhibition showcases the various activities organized by the European Blues Union like the European Blues Challenge (EBC), the Blues Market, and other cultural events associated with today’s lively European Blues scene. There is a photo exhibition by international photographers, Pertti Nurmi (Finland), Alain Hiot (France), Sylvie Bosc (France), Roser Blues (Spain), SKAttomaTTO (Italy), Charlie Hussey (Ireland), Aigars Lapsa (Latvia), Morten Gjerde (Norway), Carme Barrera (Spain), Fred Delforge (France), Christophe Losberger (Switzerland), Jean-Michel Rock’n’Blues (France), Roald Jungård (Norway), Monika Mansell (UK), John Bull (UK), Claudia Murgese (Italy), Yann Charles (France) and Álex Rodríquez Cruz (Spain). The event is supported by Cahors Blues Festival, Saint Cirq Lapopie’s Council and the European Blues Union.

The opening was at 17:00h, July 11 – 2015. A “vernissage” was offered by Cahors Blues Festival and Saint Cirq Lapopie’s Council, and also two spectacular concerts at the Place du Sombral: at 17.30h by the Chicagoan trumpetist Boney Fields and his band, and at 19.00h by the finalists of the French Blues Challenge, Gas Blues Band.
