It is with great pleasure to let you know that we will continue the success story of the first edition of the Open Blues Market exhibition, held joint with the EBC and the EBU General Assembly in Berlin, last March. This time, The Blues Market will be hosted at a fancy location, Espaces Vanel, next door to and immediately following the General Assembly of EBU, on Saturday 9th March from 14:00 to 16:30.

The Blues Market is an exclusively tailored, unique and free opportunity for all you EBU Members to present your activities in an informal setting, to meet, interact and communicate with other blues professionals, artists, media and enthusiasts from all over Europe, not to mention the expected overseas blues professionals. We will reserve, based on your request, a complimentary stand (half a table) where you can have your presentation and publication materials on display. The stand space is dedicated to you and only you, distinguished EBU Active Members. The only prerequisite is that you have renewed your membership fee for 2013.

The Blues Market is naturally open to the general public, and we are expecting loads of blues friends attending the European Blues Challenge to come over to get acquainted with the EBU activities and meet the EBU activists. So why not grasp this opportunity to present and advertise your professional blues operations to possibly the largest gathering of European blues enthusiasts in 2013.

Previous time in Berlin we had 30 exhibitor stands – Now in Toulouse we are expecting at least 70.

Please find at the bottomof the pagee p a subscription form to book a dedicated stand at the Blues Market.

It is all free for you, Active Member of the EBU.

For any additional information feel free to contact Jorden Wouters: secretary@europeanbluesunion.com

– Meet you soon at the Blues Market in Toulouse –

We sincerely hope that you have renewed – or will renew – your EBU membership for 2013 now that the European Blues Challenge, the EBU General Assembly and the Blues Market event are getting closer. Please consider submitting your membership payment before the end of calendar year 2012. This will increase our potential monetary support from the European Commission in 2014 due to EU budgetary issues.
