Candidates to host EBC 2021 are invited to send an official confirmation of their interest to potentially host it in accordance with the EBC rules (see EBU website) to the EBU secretary.
According to the rules, we will distribute a copy of the standard EBC event contract to all applicants as from 1st October next.
The detailed offers need to be sent to the EBU secretary before 15 January 2019.
Following this date the secretary will communicate all received hosting offers to the EBU Board followed by selection of the two most qualified proposals at one of the following Board meetings.
The two final candidates will be submitted to the vote of EBU Active Members at the GA. Only one city can host the EBC event.
If there is only one approved submission the Board will be entitled to appoint the EBC host.
